Did you know that we are the #1 Portland computer repair store in Oregon? We are because we care about our community and our customers. Oregon PC participates in our state's recycling program, Oregon E-Cycles. A program the helps consumers recycle e-waste efficiently. Under this program we recycle computers and LCD monitors. We also offer recycling for electronic components such as hard drives, memory, and cd-roms, etc.

You can also find an Oregon E-Cycle collector closer to your location, please be aware that they may not offer the same services as us, so be sure to check!

What we accept

We accept a number of e-waste generating components, including those required under law. Items do not need to function correctly to be recycled. Our most commonly items accepted are:

  • Memory
  • Hard Drives*
  • CD/DVD/BD-ROM Drives
  • Power Supplies
  • CPUs
  • Motherboards

How it Works

Luckily, it's so simple to help the environment. Oregon PC facilitates the recycling of your old computer system with absolutely no cost when the system is checked in at one of our locations.

  1. Call your local Oregon PC store to verify there is enough capacity for your items.
  2. Bring up to seven recyclable electronics to your local Oregon PC store during business hours.
  3. We take your name & number.
  4. You get a recycling document showing a brief, generalized list of what we accepted.
  5. You're done! You've helped keep our community, and the earth, much cleaner.

  • In-Store Drop Off - FREE
  • Portland/Beaverton Area Pickup - Just $69
  • If you have more than 7 items you wish to recycle we charge an additional $1-$10 for each item, depending on size.
